Hi everyone!:) I’m Jonie and welcome to my humble blogsite.:) Actually, I really don’t want to call it a “blogsite”. Rather, I would like it to be somewhat like a sharing site where I will be able to share with you guys everything that I’m learning, loving, liking (basically things that interests me, be it good or bad). The range could be very varied in topics (from planting to music to meditation to tutorials) and form (from very formal to very informal). In return, I hope you may also be able to share your thoughts or any additional information about anything that I’ll be posting here. Learning from you guys would be cool.:) Questions are also highly welcomed.
So for you to have quite a grasp on what topics I’ll be sharing here, it would be good if I’ll be able to tell a bit about my good old-fashioned self.:)
My name is Jonie. Learning new things is something I enjoy doing. The world is so fascinating and there is truly more to life than what we know there is and I want to discover it. I am a fresh graduate of BS Food technology, (a course not so known to all but is very interesting and has very wide applications and significance to man I believe). From that you can deduce that I’m deeply interested in food itself and all the technologies surrounding it. Music is also something I adore. I’ve also been singing since I was around 6-7 years old. I consider myself to be a late bloomer when it comes to singing because from what I remember, I didn’t sing that well when I was young but I just loved doing it. So I continued and continued until I learned how to.:) Recording and doing cover versions of songs I love is also something I do from time to time. I’m also a frustrated piano player. I’ve started to learn play the piano right after I graduated roughly 2 months ago with the help of a very good youtube lecture series.:) I can say that I made progress but there is still a lot to learn. My biggest musical and life influence (besides my family) would be Michael Jackson and Queen. They’re just so musically gifted, inspirational, good people, and I just love all their songs period. I’ve also recently started my organic garden. I’ve planted lots of vegetables which had all germinated on the hopes that they’ll remain healthy and vigorous until harvest time.:) In short, I consider myself a lover of life, someone who has her own unique way of expressing it. I want to maximize the gift of time God has given me to do things that can make me productive and in the end, the best I can possibly be-for myself, my family, my neighbor, and especially for Him.
I truly believe that:
-The world will be a better place if we would just try to respect and understand each other more.
-The law of attraction
-From Thomas Edison’s quote “Don’t call it a mistake, call it an education”, I truly believe mistakes must be seen as an education. A repeated mistake is something else though.
-Faith would determine our fate
-To learn something is good, to share it with others is better.
So there you have it.:) Until next time! Thank you!:)
